Reducing Carbon Footprints Through Geothermal Innovation

Polaris Renewable Energy continued its mission to combat climate change by leveraging geothermal technology to reduce carbon emissions significantly in 2020. Through its operations at the San Jacinto geothermal facility in Nicaragua, Polaris achieved an annual reduction of over 330,000 tons of CO2, contributing substantially to global decarbonization efforts. The company’s innovative approach included the development of new geothermal units that maximized energy output while minimizing environmental impact. These efforts were complemented by ongoing monitoring and optimization to ensure that the facilities operated efficiently and sustainably. By focusing on renewable energy projects with a low carbon footprint, Polaris reaffirmed its role as a leader in sustainable energy production and its dedication to a greener future.
